Precautions for using hydraulic pumps
1. The operating speed and pressure of the pump should not exceed the specified values, and long-term use should be avoided, otherwise it will affect the service life of the hydraulic pump.
When starting the hydraulic pump, it should be jogged several times first. After the oil flow direction and sound are normal, it should be operated at low pressure for 5-10 minutes before being put into normal operation. Before starting the plunger pump, clean working oil must be filled into the pump through the drain port on the casing.
3. The self-priming vacuum degree of the pump should be within the specified range, otherwise insufficient oil suction will cause cavitation, noise, and vibration.
If there is a specified oil supply pressure at the inlet of the pump, it should be guaranteed.
5. The oil must be clean and free of mechanical impurities and corrosive substances. For hydraulic systems without filtering devices on the oil suction pipeline, it must be refueled to the oil tank through a filter truck (with a filtering accuracy of less than 25 μ m).
6. The leaking oil pipe of the pump should be unobstructed.
7. Pumps that have been shut down for a long time should not be started at full load and should be idle for a period of time before normal use.
8. Check the condition of the filter, understand the quality, quantity, and size of the clogged attachments, and regularly remove them.
9. Check the changes in hydraulic oil, liquid level, temperature, viscosity, contamination, and discoloration of the oil, and regularly replace or replenish the hydraulic oil.
10. Check the condition of each sealing point to prevent air from entering the pump or oil leakage outside the pump
