The selection of suitable hydraulic pumps can be gradually determined according to the following core dimensions:
First match the system pressure and select the pump type
Gear pumps are selected for low-pressure (≤ 21MPa) scenarios, which are anti pollution and cost-effective; Medium pressure (6.3~16MPa) blade pump with uniform flow and low noise; High pressure (≥ 21MPa) plunger pump is selected for high efficiency and adaptability to high-power systems.
Calculate the flow and leave sufficient margin
The flow rate must meet the sum of the maximum flow rates of the executing components acting simultaneously, multiplied by a leakage coefficient of 1.1~1.3, and the rated pressure should be 10%~30% higher than the calculated value to reserve a safety reserve.
Adaptation to working conditions and long-term costs
Gear pumps are preferred for harsh environments such as pollution and humidity. For long-term continuous operation, plunger pumps are selected to extend the service life. For low-noise and precision scenarios, blade pumps are selected. At the same time, installation dimensions, interface forms, and system matching should be checked.
Specialized adaptation for special scenarios
Special ultra-high pressure hydraulic pumps are selected for ultra-high pressure testing and bolt tension, lightweight manual hydraulic pumps are selected for narrow space operations, and high-temperature resistant special hydraulic pumps are selected for high-temperature metallurgical scenarios.
